Develop your CCI Project
Guidelines to form Federal Partnerships
  1. Consider a Federal partnership when contributions from another Federal agency could enhance your ability to implement, support, and sustain the CCI.
  2. Make certain that partners share a common understanding of the CCI’s purpose and goals.
  3. Designate a coordinator to manage the partnership, but make sure that governance is shared among the partners.
  4. Develop collaborative working relationships among Federal partners to model the collaboration you want to encourage among CCI partners in communities.
  5. When Federal policies and practices make it difficult for sites to make use of resources, engage partners in systems change at the Federal level.
